The Lord of the Horto

A small baroque chapel built in 1873. Historical pieces of religious art on display. Located on Prudente de Moraes Street, next to José Bonifácio square downtown.

Methodist Church Downtown

Built in ecletic style with neo-roman and neo-gothic features in september 7, 1929, the Third Methodist Church in Brazil is one of the most ancient churches in town.

 

Saint Peter Church at Monte Alegre


Also known as "Igreja do Monte Alegre", it is famous for the frescos of the well known Brazilian artist Alfredo Volpi.

 


Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Noted for its marvelous pieces of sacred art and several frescos. Located on 640 São Francisco de Assis Street.
